German New Hampshire

I have only had one New Hampshire. She was a decent layer and i sweet, calm, curious hen. I know the breed has a lot of RIR blood in it. I know they are a little larger bird. How well do the New Hampshires lay compared to RIRs or BR??? I am really considering getting some more.

Sorry but I can't comment on that. This is my first time with the New Hampshire's and with this being the German lines someone that has had them a while will have to give you the answer. Kathyinmo or cpartist or Banjojoe will have to chime in on this one. I think they have had them the longest. Not really sure.

Hi everybody, I have had my German line Newhamps from Kathy for about a year now. They have been laying for 3 mo,s now and they lay better than my rir,s and way better than my br,s did.

Just finished reading the 32 pages! Looking good for the New Hamphires! I am excited I just put 15 New Hampshires ( from Banjoe) in the bator 4 days ago. Count down is happening!

I took these pics today. This is just two of the 7 German NH I currently own and these two were hatched on Thanksgiving day. I have 10 more chicks coming next month and I'm looking forward to getting them.

There looking real good. I started to take some pics of them also but we had people over yesterday afternoon and I got distracted with all the kids running around.
