As I mentioned in the thread, we were gifted with a GSD pup shortly after we had to have our Charlie Girl euthanized. This pup is awesome and learning everything we work to teach him, including how to behave around chickens. He won't be used as a livestock guardian however. He's my companion and security. Those two things come naturally to the GSD. They protect what they love.
