I did for many years.Still do wildlife rehab and vet work when needed.I miss the clinic,but snce my headaches and vision have pretty much ruined me,I can't work full time anymore.

THe others have all given you great advice...Just wanted to say, after reading your posts, how sorry I am that this has happened! I'd be freaking out if my baby were bleeding after surgery, too. Good luck getting this fixed—and good luck finding a better vet. Boy, I'd be ticked...

Your dog MUST get back to the vet right away. Tell them you have consulted with another vet AND an attorney. Tell them the sutures should not have broken apart and that this is malpractice. Tell them you will sue them for costs, intentional infliction of emotional distress AND call the local TV stations tocover the story. And DO call the TV stations if they won't see your dog immediately!! They will want to avoid the prosect of bad press.

Is he panting or shedding? If he's just resting he should be fine but they should give him a dose of antibiotics just in case. OOF! I am so sorry.

nope inner ones are not intack so yucky to see in there

nope inner ones are not intack so yucky to see in there

Oh that's too bad. Shoot. Well it's been a few days so he's probably had a chance for everything to clot pretty well. The main thing would be to keep him as quiet as possible I would guess. I will never understand why these things always happen when office hours are over!
