Gettin back into it !

Hi all, just getting back into this chicken raising after quite a long hiatus. When my sons were young and involved in 4H we raised chickens n turkeys for a quite a few years. Then after they got older and had other interests, little by little I just drifted away from it. We didn't have forums that I know of..well maybe there was but everyone didn't have computers back then..LOL..showin my age I guess :/ .. but for some reason the fire has started to burn again. I just started checkin out this forum and it seems pretty cool with a lot of good info to read. I'm just starting out with a small flock and have ordered 3 BO pullets, 3 RIR pullets, and 3 BO cockerels which I will cull 2 for the freezer come early fall.I look forward to reading all your posts and relearning all I can about this great hobby.

I know where you are coming from! I grew up around a lot of livestock, but left some of it behind for a good portion of my adult life. But I think it comes back to haunt you when you get older, LOL and draws you right back in.
