Getting a new duck

Is your drake a Welshie too? The good thing about WH is that they can be sexed as ducklings by Bill colour, so you can be sure that you are getting a girl

If you really want to get just one duck, and raise it from a duckling, could you maybe get it a few chicks to grow up with? My first two ducklings were raised with chicks and they all got along great.

My drake is a Pekin, it would be nice to have a girl duck but my kids would be devastated when we have to get rid of ducklings. Would it be possible to get a drake,:/ and introduce it to a drake? :/
I could get a chick too.

I just got news that my friend has 4-5 ducklings I am not sure what kind they are though. I was wondering if I could get to girls and have them with my drake Pekin. Would that be ok?

As a side note:
Do not put the ducklings with him yet till they stop peeping....Look no touch pen will be fine till they get bigger....

Yes, after peeping...Two would be best...Ducklings and Ducks get lonely....Look no touch till peeping stops at around 6 to 8 weeks...

My duck still seems sad, I haven't gotten another duckling yet, I thought about it and I decided I could get two little girls, is that ok? I don't want my drake to become depressed. :cd
