Getting a new horse tomorrow, fishing for name suggestions!

Argh!

She backed out!

I was going to get him last night, but my BIL had to work OT and I couldn't get his truck (mine's in the shop). So she rode Rocky "one last time" and got so upset, she changed her mind.

(Moral of the story--Don't count your horses until they're in the barn!)

Well...I just said a bad word. Four letters and all. I'll be nice here: Well, that STINKS!

Yes indeed. I even had dreams about this horse.

I wouldn't be surprised if she changed her mind again. They said she'd agonized over it for like a year. But I'm not holding my breath!

If she changes her mind again, go get him right away! (If I was close enough, and you didn't have your truck, I'd say give me a call and I'd help you get him!)

Thanks Deb.

That's what I keep kicking myself over, if I only could have got out there yesterday afternoon. My husband's truck is outta commission and I have to wait til it's convenient for my BIL. If she changes her mind, I'll beg, borrow or steal the first truck I can find!!

I went thru hoops with my first horse. The lady's daughter's horse. She lost interest, and aside from trying to find people to ride him while she paid board on him, she was looking for someone word of mouth.
The lady said if I want to buy him, I would have to split board on him for a few months. She finally relented after 2 months, and let me buy him. He was a joy till he died of old age.
You might want to try calling and asking her if you can spend time with the horse at her place anyway even if she's keeping him. It may get her to come to her senses after a few weeks.
