I will be getting a puppy in early December and I am so excited! The pup is a brown sable female german shepherd!

Oh. I just remembered a roadblock. My neighbor on the other side of the road has a mouthy pitbull. My past dog once got attacked by him when he peed on their tree. Don't worry, nothing too bad. He is more talk than bite. He will bark at you from the other side of the road and pace by the road. Never crosses it.
Would socializing them together help? How do I socialize them? The angry boy plays with a silver lab pup, a pitbull pup, a few labs, and a Newfoundland.
Whenever you go on their yard, he will run up to you and bark nothing more.
Or should I train her to stay away from him and how do I do it? My past dog stayed away from him because they were both boys with their own territories.

Thank you so much for the advice! At first, I was just planning on getting her some stuff before we get her but that is all.
I will follow everything that you said, thank you so much!

Before getting her I would get a large kennel (with a separator so you can make it bigger as she grows), a bed, lots of blankets, a large playpen, baby gates, lots of puppy pads, lots of different kinds of toys (the more the better, it'll keep her occupied), training treats, a harness and leash, puppy shampoo (trust me, puppies get dirty), and a dog brush.
You're going to go through lots of puppy pads and harnesses.
We ordered large puppy pads from amazon every month.

aww congrats I love german shepherds they are a lot of work in the begening but well worth it when we first got our german shepherd we watched rachel fusaro on yt and also got a training app called puprr and used those things to train her she is so smart and curently knows 12 tricks and has the best manners ever i love her so much and she follows me around all day every day her favorite thing to do is go swimming and play fetch our vet actually recomended swimming to help her hips develop nice and strong we also got her at six weeks old that wasent my choice it was the breeders but i think they should stay with mom intill eaight weeks old you will do great im sure and the puppy will be amazing if you have any questions ill gladly answer them.
