This is a picture of the shed I am going to convert to my chicken coop. The people I bought the house from had pigons in there. I work for a building supply company.I have picked up (cheep cheep) all new tilt and clean windows with grids, 2 pre hung entry doors..insulated with low E glass and grids, new roof shingles and enough Bella Stone to run a 3ft coarse along the bottom. Bella Stone as a 3 ft pannel that looks like a masonary wall. I also picked up a 12x20 dog run to attach to the outside. All the gables are vented and covered with wire mesh and I am going to move one of the roof turbine vents so the the coop portion will have 2 of them. Between the 6 windows the roof vents and the gable vents..I shoulden't have any problems with ventilation. I was able to pick up a couple of really nice barn windows with individually glased grids to match my other sheds. So from the front all the sheds will look the same. The sides and back are going to be loaded with windows. Just waiting for a little bit warmer weather to dig the 100 ft trench from the house. Going to run power, phone, water and a video camera for inside the coop. I will be able to view the lady's on my TV with a button on my remote.
