My Marans are about 16 weeks old, how do I go about getting them to lay or will they know when it's time?

Also I have a Wyandotte pullet who is 20 weeks old but has no comb or wattles or no real sign of development, she obviously isn't laying so how do I get her to lay?

they'll lay when they are ready. as long as they are getting the rightt nutrition and daylight hours then there's not much else you can do.

that being said, marans are somewhat known for taking longer than other breeds to begin laying. i'd give them a couple more months before i got frustrated at 'em
