Getting ready to move chicks to coop.

I was just wondering how all the first time chick mom's deal with moving their babies into the coop after having them inside? How often do you check on them for the first time?

First time you raise chicks and move them out: You check on them whenever you have a moment to step outside, or if you have a coop cam, you keep turning it on. You check on them at dusk, before you go to bed, maybe wander outside at 3 AM the first night "just in case."

Second time: You put the chicks in the coop, close the door and walk away.
