After researching how to get rid of the hornets in my chicken coop naturally, I came across someone that said use cooking spray, but I didn't want to get that close to them. So I used melted coconut oil in a spray bottle on the long stream setting of the nozzle and it worked! I was ready to run but didn't have to they got coated with the oil and couldn't fly then it killed them as well. Plus when the chickens find the dead ones they will only be eating coconut oil covered hornets. Just wanted to share with Backyard Chickens members that might need the information.
