getting some eggs for the first time

Guys,
I had some eggs shipped today from NC all the way to oregon, they should hopefully arrive on saturday, if not then tuesday. Will my eggs be ok for that long? What is the first thing I should do once I get them?

I'm interested in the answer too... I'm having some shipped from Calif - I'm hoping they'll be here Friday morning! They were laid on Monday and Tuesday... Em
