you rock HFR. I am planning on leaving 3 of each breed of turkey egg here in an incubator as a control - you may end up with bourbon reds and slate blues as well

I am heading out your way this weekend HFR. I have to finally get to Odyssey. I need to order eggs for pick up Tuesday.

I want to also ask them about possibly selling me some Muscovy eggs for my July duck run and maybe some Guinea Fowls for this trip. I need 16 more to fill a bator turner.

I have 24 guinea and 24 turkey eggs coming from a guy in Lancaster as well.

Time is getting closer. Confirmed eggs are mounting. Deliveries on wed and thursday. Egg runs on Tuesday and Wed evenings.

I have too many eggs for the golf bag. It maxes out at about 140.

I may try using a bicycle box. Its oversized for xray and I am allowed to exchange one of my luggage for a boxed bicycle.

Here we go again!

BTW, work on the turner stopped due to being busy with work, and not being able to get my hands on an affordable actuator. I did however, get the relay system to work with a rotary motor on a basic timer. Will come back to it for my pop door down the track some.

Good luck packing, will be watching this one closely, fingers crossed this hatch makes up for the last one.

Your first hatch must be getting close to lay time?

my first hatch was 17 weeks ago. Some should be close. I have been supplying them with calcium the form of local oyster shell. Here is hoping.

I have been too busy for the turner as well. I have everything I need except time.

Here is a poor quality pic taken yesterday of some of the scovies that hatched a month ago

i will have my own camera next trip so no excuse for photos
