As soon as the eggs warmed the action started. 1 Guinea hatched, 3 are zipping.

And just like that we have 5 hatched. they must have decided they dont like their cramped cold living quarters!

He has 5 muscovy ducklings in their from my last hatch that will add some size and genetic diversity

Gotto love them guineas.... when mine hatched I had them in the bater with Chicken eggs. Rather than messing with anything I just put them on lockdown at the chicken egg time. And left them there till the guineas were to hatch. SPROING right on time..... Pip crack and Sproing they were out tumbled about a bit and they were off and running. None of the chickens hatched....

I have another batch of guineas that came from a different supplier that are just starting to pip.

Its nice to finally get some good news. My live Guinea population is up to 11. It could reach 20!

Sometimes crazy ideas are the best. In my experience the worst that happens is that you end up having a great adventure!
