Shoot the pics didn't come through, but what a sweet idea. While my son was stationed in Afghanistan he was able to skype with his wife & kids. Really helped my 5 yr old grandson who was having occasional meltdowns because daddy wasn't home. It helped my DIL hang in there too. We talked one day and I told her how lucky she was to have such amazing technology available; just imagine if it was WWI and she had to wait for the snail mail that might have sunk with the ship. She nearly panicked at the thought.

Anyway, ever hear of Earthships? Underground homes built of tires and other recyclables, that heat, cool themselves, produce their own electricity, harvest rain water, clean grey water and produce food too? They are awesome and I intend to build one as soon as my land is paid for. Any, Mike Reynolds, the archetect is designing some for the Philipines and is planning a trip over to build some and teach the locals.

What a handsome young man and a gorgeous young lady!

On the egg thing, yup.. it goes to the chickens. Lately they've taken to ALL laying in the same nest box, leaving us with the occasional broken eggs. I just toss it to them right away. Got a chicken living in my bathtub after being attacked by a hawk, her eggs crack when they hit the cast iron tub... straight out to the birds they go. Thanksgiving turkey carcass? Made broth and tossed the rest to the birds, they loved it.

I have had ONE instance of egg eating, but I'm not too sure it didn't start out as an accident. Probably broke and she figured she might as well eat the egg.
