So many things going on! I wish I could have so many chickens! (maybe not as many as you have, perhaps, but more than just four.)
Back from Mexico, love your new pics it was dark when I got home so I haven't seen my chicks in a week! My actual babies got first dibs on mama my feathered babies will have to wait for tomorrow. How are the eggs doing??
thanks for stopping by. I hope Mexico was not too stressful.
The orps are doing OK 9/12 are fertile but they all have severely deformed air cells from there ride over from TN. Because of the air cell shape- they look like they are about 5 days ahead of schedule. Due 2/26
The BBS Cochins are dark eggs. Its only day 6 so I am not culling any yet but I am expecting a few clears.
Just wanted to say I have so enjoyed reading this thread of the Great Chicken Migration! It took me a few days to get through all 70+ pages. I can't wait to see how thing progress when you get your breeding stock across the pond and all hatched out...living vicariously through you btw...
I have finally finished reading the whole thread.
What a bloody great story!
Keep up the good work!
No wuckers. Thanks. I hope it did not make you go cross eyed
