and I am hovering over my cell phone - waiting for the next update.

I have asked for hourly until dark there.

The JG was not one of the original pips that were reported - so it got out pretty **** fast. I hope thats a good sign for the humidity issue.

the bbs orps and the Rhode Island Red/Barred Rock bin (did not label them as I knew that they would be easy to determine) are pipping up a storm.

I think so. back when I was able to incubate- to me it seemed there was some correlation between air cell size and time between pip and hatch. Too high humidity seemed to have much longer time between pip and hatch. Pure speculation on my part- with larger air cells the chicks were able to practice breathing or get enough oxygen via internal pips before being ready to get out. With smaller air cells, they might need to external pip to get enough oxygen.

thats pretty much it.

I get a lot to pip but are too big to manouver. A quick pip to zip means others may be able to as well.

Still the first pip was just 4 hrs ago.

I can fret but you guys are not allowed to
