no worries.Oh I know how big a deal it is for things to finally go smoothly and to see good, measurable results. I was just being facetious, it sounded funny as you put it, even though it's a really big deal to possible be 'out of the red' so to speak. You're finally producing eggs on the property, rather than having to bring them in.
I'm sure as your audience we're all thrilled for you! I surely did not mean to make it seem like it's not a big deal.

As time progresses, the finish line moves. my goals have changed. I was caught off guard by Analou's text message. i knew the purebreds had started laying but was not writing the numbers down. We also had a setback with incubating this week and had to change incubators mid hatch so I was not hopeful on the hatch.
Yesterday evening we were juggling coops and I also realized that the Banty Cochins did not fare a bug as well as I thought - I was expecting 5 - we have a sole roo and a golden sebright hen. So now what do I do with them? I misunderstood prior communications. What I like about whats app is that it stores the whole conversation - even if you lose your phone- so I can go back and pull numbers or quote a previous discussion.
Seeing the numbers on my phone pepped me up again!
