Not in any way meaning to knock Vanners, they're very pretty, but yyou know, I've known and worked with *lots and lots* of draftX's, paint and otherwise, and *nearly all* of them have been quite gentle and pleasant to work with. No matter what breed literature may say

I have been dreaming of owning a Vanner for years. A few years back I was so obessed I could name nearly everyone in the US. They are starting to become more popular now. I was lucky enough to drive 11 hours twice now and get to see Silver Feather Gypsies. She owns some of the nicest and well known mares in the US.

My only life goal is to own a Gypsy Vanner someday. But as I can not fork out 15 thousand + for the quality that I want, it's going to be quite a while before I get one. lol

Someday. I will have one.

FYI.. there is a 5 year old Friesian gelding on horsetopia for 1k.. I am sooo tempted to check him out.. he is beautyful and a good price to boot
