Getting two Polish Chickens! Any tips for caring for them?

This is Alfalfa, Carmen, Boufalant and Doc. We got them from a feed store. Doc was 2 weeks old and the Polish were 2 days old and thought Doc was mom. Doc couldn't figure out why all the other chicks were pushing up against her.

All so cute. I'm waiting for a 8/13 delivery from MPC for a golden lace polish and black white Crest polish. Can't wait to add them to the flock.

Delivery fee of $36.95 sucks but no other hatchery even had them avail until October. Would love to get some eggs from ebay and see how those turn out.

I Thought I was getting my polish chickens Thursday but Im actually getting them tomorrow !

Yes, I wish they were easier to find! I really wanted laced ones (buff most of all), but when I bought mine they only had two left so I took them both happily. The guy at the store told me they were buff and silver laced. Haha. I ended up with a splash roo and a white crested black hen.

I was going to order mine offline but then my aunt told me that she knows a lady that sells all different colors of polish hens so I drove a while to Texas just to go pick them out
