Maeve felt her phone buzz. "Work." She finally texted. Though, she did have a job, she had a day off.

"you shouldn't do that. You could get in huge trouble..." She said. "And why would you tell me that? People do monitor texts...." Maeve texted back as she shifted into a puppy. She didn't look like a ghost anymore. The puppy's fur wasn't translucent. It was regular. That was the joy of shape shifting. She ran into the town. She barked every once and a while, as if trying to prove she was real. She sat down on the steps to someone's house, curling up into a tight ball.

"Oh yes I'm sorry I haven't been here long." she texted back. She still was going back to the real world. She chirped once and while to make it more real. She noticed the puppy. Maeve. She thought to herself. She chirped loudly so that she would noticed her.

The puppy looked up and barked. Maeve knew it was daisy, and curled back into a ball again, tucking her tail underneath her.
