Maeve smiled. dot change form again unless it's somewhere no one will see you. she said to her in her head.

"I know I forgot. Now I think we should go back before someone notices." She whispered.

"Yes, but this is my only day off for the week. I want to stay and explore some more: this is pretty much the only town nearby that I haven't explored completely." She whispered.

"I'll come with you." She said. Daisy trotted around as if she was a normal dog.

"You don't know anything of this town, so you have to stay close to me, ok?" Maeve said. She trotted up next to her.

"Here, follow me." she said and walked back to the edge of the forest. She ducked behind a tree and shifted into a human, appearing living. She wasn't see through and translucent like she usually was. She looked like she was actually living. "You can be my puppy. So I can show you without looking suspicious or get us into the pound." She smiled. She shifted into a different person. With very short brown hair that went up to her ears, deep forest green eyes, tall, wearing a short baby blue sundress.

"Okay." She shape shifted into a parrot. "Now we can talk with no one looking at us weird."

Nicole walked past a girl with a parrot, but she paid her no attention as she slipped into the forest. It felt like the only place she could be herself.
