This is my one year old today jumbo’s weight after laying and no feed eaten…! She’s lost a lot but still a Biggn’
Weighed the cup…
Zero the scale…
Plopped her in…
Drum roll….
463grams…!!!!!

Got the Quails outside... Joy...
Most likley going to add more items like hanging planters with safe to eat plants. maybe some warming lights or fairy lights....

Set out a third hutch….
Put the batch of 4 four week olds…
It’s been consistently over 50 at night…

The three chicks of 2 weeks are most likely to go out soon in a fourth hutch…

Thanks, They are sold as tortoise hutches...
I unstapled the plastic bottom from the removable floor, then, cut, and stapled in 16 gage vinyl dip 1/2 inch hardware cloth in its place. I put some 8 ft 2x1 cedar boards temporarily to hold the hutches.
