GIANT RATS! I had to shoot it last night and it took off this morning I woke up to a dead rat! 2lbs and 20 inches long!

Okay, so I'm reading this thread, and see the comment about everything being bigger in Texas and I wonder.... just where was this HUGE rat? So, I look at your webpage and see you're in Sacramento? I live about an hour east of Sac, just outside of Placerville... I was hoping you were a few states away from me! I surely hope I never see a rat that big on our property! Please, please don't run those things up into the foothills!

You better hope so. They eat 1/2 grown ducks, Full grown Bantams, chicks, eggs, and all your extra feed in the bowls and they are so hard to fight. They can getinto anything and kill anything they cant get their grimey little hands on. I wouldnt wish these on anyone.

I grew up outside of Lodi (CA) with chickens and turkeys, and we had these bad boys, too! My brother and his friends used to go out into our fields and shoot them with b.b. guns. To this day, I can't even look at anything rodent-like...they make my toes curl!!
