Giant Rats! 2lbs! Graphic Pics

I thought rats like that only lived in the city. I remember one time being in Boston when the Big Dig started and seeing some rats, and thinking they were puppies. When I got closer I was so grossed out. It seems all the construction was making them come out, it was disgusting!!!

Yea we have rats that size here. My dad shoots them too. I rescue them LOL. I saved one out of the pond and took it way out and let it go prob came back oh well.

Hi, saw you pictures wow scary. Have you read about the use of RAT BALLS, no kidding it made out of equal parts paster of paris and peanut butter with enough veg. oil or olive oil to make a paste then roll them into balls and put where the rats will get to them. I have not had a need and have not tried but it was interesting read and good info to have. Good luck. Actually they are called Plaster Balls, sorry.

We've killed lots of rats with the Rat Zapper (and even one ground squirrel) but I wonder if this bad boy would even fit in the RZ.

Bury the wire, It will work for a while. We have tryed rat balls and they kill some but not all then they just breed back.

I haven't seen a rat that big in years, thank goodness. Our German Shorthaired Pointers played with one to death. I actually thought it was a cat a first. It was huge.

Wild rats can be nasty critters and are a heck of a pest to have... however...I love my pet ratties...and have actually met one that is over THREE POUNDS...now THAT is a big rat....lol Thankfully he is was a domestic and very friendly rat!

I think I'm a bit happier i have a snake problem now. Snakes don't spread diseases and mine don't have harmful fangs when i do find them.

My dad gets rat snakes and releases them under the coop. They don't ever bother the chickens course I never have chicks under there but I do have bantams.
