3 main features of Chinese Silkies, is any comb type, solid tail feathers, & varying degrees of leg feathering. So, they aren't as fancy as our US silkies.

I wanna keep the solid tail feathers, but unsure I wanna keep just strictly Walnut combs, or go with the other comb types also.

Here's the fancy footed, silkie bantam I hatched for a friend. It's definitely a dominant white, there's a random black feather in the hackles. But not all my dominant whites have black showing.

Okay, I'm conducting an experiment with 007, my Khaki Silkie. I've bred him to a CrackerFowl X Silkie cross hen who's light partridge in color, & a black Sumatra.

Khaki X Black Sumatra should give me 100% Duns.

Khaki X Light Partridge should give me 25% Dun partridge females, 25% Dun Partridge males, & 25% Dun Females, & 25% Dun Males.
