Here they are at 19 weeks.

The boys were fighting none stop like games, so I had to split them up, otherwise one of them would've been dead by tomorrow. They got bloodied, & bruised. They were out of breath, but kept at it.

This is actually the first time I had an issue with silkies. Never had silkies try to kill each other.
Except one other time, this was a few years ago, I had a silkie almost kill the other. I had to doctor the wounds on the one who was ripped up, & bleeding.

The boy with the dark neck was put in the small coop, since they will try to kill each other if I have them together.


Maybe this was an Ancestral throw back situation? The exact Ancestor of the silkie is still a mystery. Maybe it was a Game breed?

I'm scratching my head, trying to figure this out.
