Is this due to your flocks accidently mixing? Is it rooster Malay on hen Silkie, otherway around or potentially both?

No, not because of that. I've always had 2 Silkie Roosters with the Malays for this reason. This would produce sexlinks.

The one's I don't want mixing is my Chameleons over Malay Hens.

Hopefully out of this hatch I get a Silkie/Malay cross. Due to hatch the 19th. Today is day 11. So 10 days left to go.

Looks like I finally have the Silkie/Malay cross for the Giant Silkie Project. Will confirm later after it hatches, or tomorrow if it hatches then.

So far a total of 3 Malay eggs are pipped. One pipped the wrong end.

I was right, it is a Silkie/Malay cross. It's a giant chick too. Just hope all of them aren't, I can use two, but not sure what I'd do with 10, or 11.

This is a Fibro Sexlink cross as well, the two hatched are completely fibro, so those are pullets.

A 3rd Silkie/Malay cross has Hatched. My boys decided to get busy for me this time, giving me more then what I wanted.
