No crowing yet, but I did get this today:

So I guess unless Cream Legbars can lay light sage green eggs, one of my potential roos is definitely a hen.

Both of those are females. You will not be getting an egg from a male unless he is enduring a serious hormone imbalance.

Crowing is not an accurate way of sexing chickens because females can crow as well－they typically do this when the flock only consists of females or they want to challenge the male for top spot. I have a hen who crows occasionally.

Cream Legbars lay blue eggs, but they can also lay green eggs due to different strains having different egg color genetics.

Cream legbars are autosexing, the cream legbar is definitely a pullet, I would guess all of them are actually.

Thank you! I knew that my Easter Egger (and Olive Egger, for that matter) could have some variation in egg coloring, but I don't know a ton about Cream Legbars, so that's helpful to know!

Yes, thanks! We were pretty sure the Midnight Marans and the Cream Legbar were both pullets thanks to autosexing, but there was some question about my Sapphire Olive Egger (Blue) and my Easter Egger (Opal). I think we can call it a all 4 pullets at this point. Phew!

You are welcome. Easter Egger is not a breed, it is a mix that has at least one Ameraucana in their lineage, so they can lay green or blue eggs and their appearance can be anything.

Some Cream Legbars will lay white eggs, but that is very undesirable, as they were bred to lay blue eggs. If a Cream Legbar lays white eggs it is most likely because the strain it came from is not bred for the color of their eggs.
