Gingernut Ranger?

Thanks for your reply, but no, they're a different breed. They do look similar in color, but from what I just read online, it seems that the Freedom Rangers are fast growing birds raised for meat, while the Gingernuts are a Rhode Island Red and Light Sussex cross, ideal for egg laying. I couldn't find much good info on the Freedom Ranger, but this site set them apart from the Gingernuts: http://avianaquamiser.com/posts/Freedom_Ranger/
I did find a farm in Maryland that's starting a Gingernut breeding program. It's called Pap's Poultry. I may end up driving up there (from Tennessee) to pick some up.

We have Gingernut Rangers at Coop and Caboodle! Just starting to carry them.
