Girl duck lost her voice!?!?

so for about the past week my female Indian runner ducks voice has just totally disappeared. I’m very worried about her! She eats,drinks, and plays normally. Could it be a respiratory infection. I checked her throat for a lodge and didn’t find anything. Please help!

About one and a half and I’m positive it’s a girl even though the noise sounds exactly like a male duck.

Has she over-used her voice? - Donald, my lost drake got hoarse last year from too much seducing the girls…

Maybe she changed into a drake. See if she gains plumage and she doesn’t lay eggs anymore it could be a spring break for eggs but if she continues not laying eggs it is possible she changed gender. Do you have more females than males or vice versa

She could definitely over used it because she screams bloody murder when my male Peking duck chased her a while ago but it’s been about a week and a half since they have came in contact. I have two males and four females. We are also trying to get her a friend but I’m not sure what she would be good with because she is so small.
