i would say female, but it would be better if u had a friend or 2 of hers to compare it too. i must say, that i'm pretty good at picking out pullets by the time they're 2 weeks old. i hatched quite a lot of chicks this year and i could only keep so many and i gave a LOT away. now my hatchlings are 3 1/2 months old (which i have 2 pullets), 3 months old (2 pullets as well), and 1 month old (3 pullets, hopefully....still young to say 100%, but so far i would say all 3 pullets). out of the 4 older ones, i gave away quite a bit of hatch mates to a friend. and i gave them away when the chicks were only 2 weeks old. and the ones i picked are girls! yea! i can tell by the time they're about 2 weeks old (sometimes 10 days old) by the way they feather in. the females feather in faster on their wings and the shape is different, more of a V shape to the whole wing verses a more blunt shape (looks kinda like it was cut with scissors) on the males. also, the females will grow their tails a lot faster. i gave the ones away that had the small wings and no tail feathers (as well as some females too, cuz i gotta keep my numbers down). maybe somebody else will debate me on this, but i had done LOADS of research on the subject and so far my pickins have been pullets. good luck!! oh, and when they're a bit older, the females will feather in on their backs more quickly as well. let us know how it turns out. if you could post a comparison pic with some other chicks her age, it would help.
