Girls vs Girls

Niacin can assist with leg issues but it's not a huge difference if it's not a Niacin deficiency

Hmm. Poor lucky hasn't walked since she ran her asp off to save her neck. Now, still, her right leg she can push back, but not pull up under herself. I've been thinking sprain or strain. maybe what I should be thinking here is v e t.

Sounds like a sprain is highly likely. Which should heal itself after awhile

Thats what I think. I've checked her closely, and everything does work, she just can't quite use it. No breaks, no dislocations, and it works ok in water. well, she actually lists to starboard a bit. Kind of a little tipped over. Here is a pic of her early during water time. See how her wings and tail display that she is correcting for weakness? Shes tipped toward the camera.

Goose just hung out like this for a few minutes. She climbed in, and I thought she was climbing out, but I guess she wanted swim and sun.

The goose is so adorable

. I had a guinea that had very very similar symptoms to your duck. I just kept him in a crate by himself and upped his supplement intake. It took about 3 weeks for him to fully recover but he ended up going back to normal.

What suppliments do you give your ducks? I just give them a large variety of whole grains, scraps from the house (I gave up composting for poultryosting), and free time outdoors.

I was actually thinking about buying Lucky some nightcrawlers, or finding her some other snack. She's mostly eating straw and watermelon. Today noticed watery poo.

Whatever fresh grass I can pull and of course vitamins and electrolytes.

hardly any living grass now, I was going to go buy them some nice timothy hay tomarrow. Also, what vitamins/electroytes are you using? A brand? All I have is baby vita drops.
