Cochin, good luck with your hatch. I'm debating whether to do another chicken hatch this summer...leaning towards no since I have a few too many....but they're so cute....you see my dilemma? lol

I'm going to do a guinea hatch and turkey hatch as well, been buying
Sadly we may end up having to sell all the birds through winter ):
And the chickens hate me. They squat, have huge combs, are 20 + weeks old and ZERO EGGS. what. The. Heck.
They free range, but look like their mature enough to lay and act like it!!!
Oh and the 'Rouen' drake may be a mallard, but he's starting to get his drake feathers and very pretty. Ill know when their all in I guess, since rouens and mallards look different I like mallards better.
He's very quiet and is momma Hen to all the ducklings
