Nope, been a terrible rabbit season (every 7 years it BLOOMS!! waiting for the 7th year..

) and grouse hunting doesnt start till August 10th. I think their gonna shut down all fishing in AK for a couple years for the fish to get better

Hopefully the commercial fishermen can't fish either if they do so!!!

Honestly I think like every 10 years they should have a mandatory 1-2 year shut down on hunting, then next 10 years fishing, just so it doesnt get terrible like it is (but the rabbit season sucks just cause thats how it is- we have a cycles, and were not on a good year)

Don't you practice shooting beforehand? I mean, I'm po casue I've missed some practice time. I've got to be good at it for the one shot kill. I don't want to aim bad, and leave some poor deer to suffer.

I agree, if you all can't fish, they can't fish. Your trying to feed yourself, they are trying to make money. Told my kids you live an hour from the city of North Pole. They were impressed. We live an hour from the center of the continental US.

Eh, not really. We use shot gun pellets and trust me, if you EVER hunt grouse in AK, you'll see why so many people hunt them. They just stand there looking at you as if to say "HI!! Who are you??" Their idiots, and getting a good aim is pretty easy.

Down there they have a section where you can pet reindeer.

I know! They have NATIVES not being able to keep a king, but the fishermen have caught thousands!!

And if they make fishing illegal in a certain place, then of course other places will be over fished so they will have to stop all fishing
