if that can't be done
do this
crush the pill medication in a tabsp
add to
1 tbsp of dry crumbles
in a small bowl
now add two tbsp of water
andd most birds will eat the wet mash

then after medication has been given
use the
natural probiotic wet mash

for whole broup of birds
1 qt of dry mash
2 qts of milk any kind
1/4 cup of yoguart
mix good and feed
chicks over 2 weeks old 2 tsp per chick per feeding
adult birds 3 tbsp per wet mash per time feeding

this with
2 tbsp of apple cider vineager to a gallon of water
will help their gut get back active good gut flora

they can have this once a week
what the can eat in 20-30 minutes
then clean up the feeders and restock dry brumbles

Be careful when mixing meds not to over or under dose. Contact a vet for proper dosage before you begin mixing it.

On another note... I use baytril in pill form. It is meant for dogs, so the dosage is high and it's brown in color. So I mashed up the pill into a fine powder to add to distilled water, but first I brought it to my dad. "LOOK! Chocolate flavored cocaine!"
