Glassing Eggs (first timer) Question (Bloom)

Hello everyone,

I just got pullets over a month ago and they are laying. I am trying the clear watering glassing and I have a question about the bloom on the egg. The girls have straw in their nesting box and sometimes the straw is attached to the egg when removed from the box. Will pulling straw debris off of the egg removed the bloom? Otherwise eggs are pretty much clean. Though this morning I found two of the girls trying to lay in the same box at the same time. In the end they did take turns.

No, I don't think pulling chunks off of eggs bothers the bloom, but here's a good article on waterglassing and she talks about what eggs she uses or doesn't.
