Glen's Recovery thread.

May Gods hand be upon him... Prayers...

He is in a medically induced coma and they will be removing his skull cap to relieve swelling. His liver has stopped bleeding, and he is not strong enough for surgery, so that is their main worry right now - his liver. When he was life flighted his blood pressure was 40/20 so they are worried about brain damage. He has 4 teams of doctors working on his 24/7 right now. His feet and hands are no longer blue and some color has returned. His is far from being out of the woods though. Please keep praying.

A friend of mine was in an accident last week and is also in ICU. An army of people is praying for him, and he is improving. I pray the same for your Glen, that his body is healed and his mind is unharmed. Prayer is the most powerful force we have here on earth.

Brain activity scales go from 3-15. He was a 3 yesterday and today he is a 6 so there is more activity, but other than that there is no change.

Except my daughter is now in labor.

As a fellow biker, this is one of my biggest fears. Prayers up for continued improvement and recovery, and another prayer that they catch the driver that hit him and left. There is a special place in the hot spot for those kinds of people.
