Willow licked her lips at the mention of doves... one time her mom had found an injured dove that couldn’t fly. She remembered why her mom had killed it.. No sky-creature should end it’s days on the ground, afraid, so I shall put it out of its misery and it will provide us with meat. Her mom always had a fondness for birds. She remembered the succulent meat of the doves breast, but she also thought of those icky, sticky feathers stuck to her nose
