Sapphire stared at her with cold eyes. "Why would we accept you if you are being chased by your pack? Surely you did something awful that caused this. Who says you won't do the same to us?" In truth, her heart gave out to this poor wolf, yet she had to stay firm for the pack until someone in higher rank and could speak would come.
 
Sapphire turned back to Mitts. "I don't know why she's here, but I think we should bring her to Shark soon. Also, we need to find out what happened to your voice."

Mitts nodded. She did think that they should bring the wolf to Shark, but she didn’t know how they would figure out what happened to Mitt’s voice. Suddenly, Mitts blacked out. She fell on the ground and started having a seizure.

(I liked the post, finished reading it, and then I was like, nope, this reaction needs to be a little more extreme, lol)
Sapphire dropped to the ground. "Mitts? Mitts! What's wrong?" She cried
 
Umber walked out of the den she was staying in and noticed Mitts and Sapphire talking to a strange wolf. Oh great, she thought, rolling her eyes, another wolf looking to join the pack. Aren’t those zoo wolves enough? She was about to walk away into the woods when she saw Mitts fall to the ground. She quickly ran over to Sapphire
