Realizing his mistake, he turned and ran into Osprey! Growling, he shook her off and went out the way he came, heading back into the woods.

Mitts, satisfied with the wolf now gone, went back to bed in her sunny patch of grass.

Blue ran as fast as he could, then yelled behind him "Why are you chasing me??"

Aurora heard the rustling of the bushes, and then the noise of frantic running from several wolves. She pushed herself deeper into the bank, praying she wouldn't be seen

Osprey snarled in frustration and gestured at Luna. “Let’s corner him by the burnt boulder.” She said, referring to a boulder which was blackened since it had been hit by lightning. She wondered how a skinny loner had more endurance and speed than three well-fed pack wolves. She disappeared into the undergrowth, wanting to cut in front of him without him realizing she had been following.
