Stormcloud crept closer on his belly. He put down his ears, not in an aggressive way, but in a worried way. “What? You’re not going anywhere.” He murmured, and wagged his tail weakly in an effort to prove it. “You.. you’re going to-to be fine.” He stuttered, his voice rising as he watched her fade. No!..

Raven looked up at Luna then gave a little laugh "us loners are never wrong, now shut up and let me die" she rasped sarcastically

Luna swallowed. No one had ever died under her care. But she knew that if Raven wanted to die, she couldn't stop it. "I'm sorry I couldn't help you," She said.

Stormcloud suddenly lurched forward and put his nose in her fur. “You’re my friend, Raven!” He cried softly, “I don’t have anything else..” The last part was said in a whisper. He felt like his heart was being torn out; like he was losing his family and pack all over again.
