or one could be tranquilizing and tagging like @LittleBigBantam said. The wolves probably can’t tell the difference between harmful guns and traquilizing guns.

Awesome! We can incorporate that in the future by rolling for whether it's the same group of settlers coming into our forest, and then what their intensions are.

Great idea!

(OK so for this group of settlers we could do something like...
1 settlers are scouting a new place to live/have decided they want to settle here and are killing/trapping the local wolves because of that
2 they are worried about their nearby livestock
3 They're trappers and thus came to set traps
4 They're researchers who only want to tag the wolves, but hired some roughian guides who started shoting the wolves when they got scared, and things went south from there
5 they want to trap the wolves alive (or at least some of the wolves) to put them in zoos or breed them or something like that
6 they were hunting in general and happened to stumble upon the wolves who they're now hunting

(I’m used to everyone knowing about him, but then again he is from Oklahoma, so everyone here knows about him! He ran an exotic animal park, but not well. You should look him up sometime, it’s a crazy story)

(Looked him up, and wow! :eek: I don't know who most people are, I don't get out much (especially now) so, you know...)
