Luna sat down. "A concussion is basically a bruise on the brain. It should heal, eventually..." (I've had like five of them this year, and they can take away speech, so that's an idea of what happened....)

( wait wut? aren’t concussions like deadly? do you play football or something?’

Mitts listened to Luna, her ears perked. It would heal eventually?

(Lol, no, they're not deadly, and I suck at sports. It's more like when an 8' long board fall on top of your head from a 15' high deck when I get a concussion...or when blocks of ice get chucked at your head, lol...I guess they could get deadly, but it's rare.)
 
Mitts felt better after hearing she would be able to talk again, but she felt a bit sad she couldn’t go talk to the other wolves. They all probably hated her now, she was almost positive Flame did. Why wouldn’t Flame hate her? Mitts did ruin a lot of Flame’s chance for survival after all. She didn’t want to make it worse for Flame, she was just trying to help her. But it made sense, as it seemed whenever Mitts tried to help she just made it all worse. She tried to help Willow with the bear, and Mitts lost her leg. She tried to help Sapphire and Dove out of the zoo, but instead she had fallen and made it difficult for the rest of the party. And now, she tried to help Flame and now everyone hated her. She even hated herself now. She ruined everything, and now Flame was probably going to die. It was all her fault. It’s always her fault.

Mitts ignored Luna and walked back over to her own den. She was tired of the others trying to be nice when Mitts had messed up. She wasn’t good, but she didn’t deserve to be okay. She messed up and ruined Flame’s chance of surviving. She just messed up everything like she always does.
