Keith had gotten a call from a number he recognised as soon as he had made his way over to the phone. It was Billy's Animal Rescue, and so he answered that call. It was an emergency case so he rushed over there. Now that the patient had been stabilized he remembered the other call he'd gotten and decided to call back. Rose was still with the patient, a fox that had come to the rescue in bad shape. Keith stepped out into the hallway to make the call. He tapped the unknown number on his cell-phone and then clicked the little green phone icon. The ringing of waiting for someone to accept his call sounded in his ears.

Ava held her gaze for a moment, then slowly nodded. "You're right. I'm sorry." Ava sighed

“Whatever just get back to work” Sam said coldly, from now on she wouldn’t make friends out of her staff. It hurt to much when they fought and made things uncomfortable in the workplace

Ava drew in her breath sharply, the look of hurt plain in her eyes. But she knew that this was her own fault. Swallowing, Ava nodded and hurried down a hallway.

"Hello," said Keith, "this is Keith Anderson, veterinarian."

“Oh hello this is Samantha, I’m the head vet here but I think we need some specialist help to fit the prosthetics. Can we organise a time for you to come?”

Thomas gripped the broom in his hand, sweeping with determination. As he swept, he thought of what Ava had said to him. He decided to shrug it off, but her words still lingered in his mind.

“Oh hello this is Samantha, I’m the head vet here but I think we need some specialist help to fit the prosthetics. Can we organise a time for you to come?”

(OK I just wasted a whole ton of time looking for Keith's last name lol, can anyone remember what page we made Keith and Rose and the other first APSA human characters?)
Prosthetics....yeah, I know a little about that, and I have a friend who knows more than me... "Sure," said Keith, "how much does the job pay?" Money was tight with Keith running his own practice without much advertising or even an office, he was a small fish in a big pond, and he'd have to split some of it with Robert.
