Out of 3 GLW chicks (4-5 weeks old), 2 are larger and much cleaner feathering (typical lacing of a hen) they also have dark colored comb areas with no sign of the comb protruding yet. The 3rd however is pretty much the opposite of the other 2

Roo?

All three, Back is definitely a pullet, right one is the chick in question in the top pictures. Left one I think is pullet?

So far those all look like pullets

I read somewhere a wee while back on sexing chickens and I laughed when I read this. Hold their feet and let them hang upside down if they just hang there they are pullets the roosters will try to get back upright. I have tried this a number of times and it has been very affective for me

They all are pullets. My BLRW that are six weeks old the two Roos had Red combs and wattles pretty pronounced by that age. The pullets combs turned a brownish color and still don't have wattles to speak of yet. Plus the tails are fairly short. They could surprise you but looks pretty solid.

This is that sane questionable chick. See the comb and the "cape" look it has. It is also much more gangly than the other 2
