GMO discussion with teacher

Cool. I'm not trying to like start little feuds with people on this, I'm just trying to figure out why would someone would want to have GMO foods. An I understand GMO food for hungry now, but I still think there are better ways to do it, without GMO.

Why can't you? Sounds like it is purified water that just used for crops instead of drinking. Or is it just the straight fluid?

it's against the law it's filtered and cleaned water but may not pass for drinking water

Actually there is not too many of us in terms of space and food. Just how we use energy.

No, you are right about that, but the way we use resources and at the rate we are destroying the environment (the ocean is in bad shape, we are in danger of fishing out many species) we cannot sustain a larger population. And like I said, we already have enough food to feed everyone, but we don't.

If you're wanting organic, then human crap is not what you want to fertilize your crops with.

I didn't say it was. I was just learning from Dennis that people can still use it for animal feed.

umm.... you do know that there is a fixed amount of water on earth? Except for the rare occurances of an asteroid or astronauts peeing in outer space..
