Thats a good question. It probably depends on how you look at the problem. See, GMOs can mean so many things - it can mean a plant that is selected for certain traits or it can mean a plant (or animal) with traits (genes) inserted into it. Those traits can be from the same species or from different ones. If you are talking about a plant that has been modified using other plant genes, that may not be so bad, but if you are inserting rat genetics into it, i would say you are a weirdo. LOL
No, I actually don't think that GMOs that use less water are a good thing, the result of that would be more people living in an area that was not meant to be farmed to begin with and it will just make the overall world population increase. Adding to the problem.
