all water is reused it never just goes away kind of like beer you never get to keep it

As long as there's oxygen and hydrogen floating all around us, there will be water. If that disappears, we die anyway cause we can't breathe.

I see now why the teacher changed the subject.

Every thing in the plant world has or is modified genetically some by nature and some by man and I fail to see the difference other than fear of the unknown. Natural does not always mean it is best.

so if you have GMO's that use less water to grow the same crop is that a good thing or bad ?

Thats a good question. It probably depends on how you look at the problem. See, GMOs can mean so many things - it can mean a plant that is selected for certain traits or it can mean a plant (or animal) with traits (genes) inserted into it. Those traits can be from the same species or from different ones. If you are talking about a plant that has been modified using other plant genes, that may not be so bad, but if you are inserting rat genetics into it, i would say you are a weirdo. LOL

No, I actually don't think that GMOs that use less water are a good thing, the result of that would be more people living in an area that was not meant to be farmed to begin with and it will just make the overall world population increase. Adding to the problem.
