gnats killed my chickens, HELP!!

oh my gosh, thats horrible!! I'm so sorry! Sounds like there isn't much you could have done. I hope we dont have those in Oregon!

Thanks to all of you for your help. I did get some spray from our local co op or feedstore (hubby works there) and he is spraying it now. I am keeping them in a spare bedroom. I was up way into the night bringing them all in and washing them off. Hubby woke me up this morning befor he went to work and told me he can hear my rooster crowing and hes not in the pen, I said oh about that...they are all in the bedroom..lol..he wasnt thrilled. The 2 that were the worst look a lot better today. Theres a few with several bites, but i notice dthe ones with no combs arent getting bit...odd. I looked and they are not the black fly I dont think because they are a really light grey. I gave them yogurt in a baby medicine sirynge. Anything else I can do for them?

by the way, I buried the dead ones immediatly. So they are not around them.

I also have rabbits outside, will the bugs kill them too?
