My SO was going round and round with Alltel, now windstream on the phone one day for over an hour. Kept getting people that he couldn't understand and they definitely couldn't understand him with his southern drawl.
I finally took the phone away from him, hung it up, dialed their number again and pressed "0". Got what we needed accomplished in less than five minutes.

Alot of people don't know this, but if you are tired of the automated phone systems when making a business call simply press "0" when given the option of different #s to press. Works almost every time. You'll get an actual human being to talk to. Of course I can't promise you what language that human will speak.
Anyhow, I gotta go fold clothes. Cyaz in a bit.

We live in a remote area when in the U.S. and one satellite dish does it all - internet and TV connections, same deal on the RV (motorhome)
Works great from anywhere, very few problems except on rare occasions of really bad weather and then only a brief interruption.
As for watching whatever is on the screen, there's a switch to make a selection of a specific channel and there's an on and off switch that works great too. Books are a great alternative to TV and helps the mind to visualize without having something else do it for you. Just my proverbial two cents' worth. Cheers...
